Wasted Time

I often think about the days 

I spent with you.

I think about the time 

I would've saved. 

The fun I would've had. 

The happiness,

and the confidence I would’ve kept,

If I just let you go the first time. 

But I knew I wasn’t ready to move on. 

So I let you come back.

God do I regret that.
