A group of Upper School students who are members of our social justice club called ‘Justice League’ got the wonderful opportunity to take part in the 6th Annual Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Conference on O’ahu hosted by the Shanti Alliance. While embracing this years theme of ‘Stories We Inherit, Stories We Pass Down, Stories That Empower Change,’ important dialogue was fostered with students across the islands. The conference empowered students to learn more about the ‘āina on O’ahu with service work at many locations in Mānoa.
