Top 5 Halloween Costumes 2026

2026, What’s the best part of Halloween? Is it the excessive candy, the crowds, or the creative costumes? Every costume is unique, and some are worth noting for next year. Though Halloween is a single night, it’d be great to have a few extra days to fit in more costume ideas instead of choosing just one.
1. Cupcake/Sweet Treat

Dressing up as a cupcake is cute and creative, and you’ve got to be sweet! The small details in the frosting and sprinkles really make up the basis of a cupcake.

2. Minions

Pappoy–is what I’d say to a comical costume like this. Easy, yet the combination of the yellow and goggles represents a minion, and it’d be fun to add purple for more minion variety! Have fun eating all the banana-flavored Laffy Taffy’s!

3. Fisherman & Fish – Couples Costume

Have you ever wanted to bring your hobbies into real life with your partner? No worries, one can be a fisherman, and one can be a fish to tie in that hobby. You’ve got me hooked!

4. Suki from 2 Fast 2 Furious

At first glance, this costume amazes me each year. The pop of colors, especially the long, knee-high boots, is similar to Suki. In 2 Fast 2 Furious, we’ve all been inspired by her persona. All it needs is a Japanese Model car in the background to top it off!

5. Water Dispenser + Water Bottle

Let’s put all the cute, simple costumes aside; I love seeing the funny, unique costumes come together! Like a water dispenser and water bottle, it amazes me how people can come up with combinations that bring laughter to a chaotic Halloween night. Bonus points for making the costume 3-D and realistic. Definitely saved the best for last!
