HoCo Spirit Week Outfit Ideas

Every year during spirit week, I always find myself struggling to decide what to wear each day. I love showing school spirit and getting into the fun of the week, but sometimes I’m not in the mood to put together something super elaborate. Other times, I feel like going all out and taking my outfit to the next level. It really just depends on my mood. That’s why I thought it would be helpful to share inspiration and give everyone a few simple, but fun ideas for each of the themed days. Whether you want something easy and comfortable or something bold and creative, these pictures can give you some inspiration and a starting point so you don’t have to stress about finding the perfect outfit. 

Monday

Pajama Day:

1. Pajama sets are cute and simple. By pairing these with comfy socks and house slippers, you can make this look even more on theme.

2. Plaid pants are also a really simple way to show your spirit for pajama day. I would pair this with a white shirt or a hoodie that matches.

Tuesday

Tourist Tuesday:

1. Plastic lei’s and skirts are bright and really easy to get a hold of. They can go over your regular clothes or accessorize other touristy clothes.  

2. Tacky Hawaiian button-ups are a tourist staple and can be worn over your regular clothes.

Wednesday 

Dynamic Duo:

1. Matching outfits with coordinating colors are easy to do with anyone you choose.

2. Dressing up as matching characters can be as quirky or as simple as you like.

Thursday

Adam Sandler/Baggy: 

1. Jorts and basketball shorts are perfect for an Adam Sandler outfit.

2. Extra baggy shirts are easy to find and great to pair with any baggy pants.

3. Tennis shoes or slides can elevate the Adam Sandler vibes of the outfit.

Friday 

Crazy Hair & Maroon

1. If you don’t want to put your hair in crazy updos, colored hairspray is an easy way to show spirit. 

2. Hair accessories can be made into a hairstyle or just be put on alone.

3. Lastly, maroon logo wear is a must for today, and is the simplest way to show your Parker School spirit!
