“Don’t cry. Please don’t cry. Or people will know that you aren’t okay. They might think, it’s all for attention. They might treat you differently once they know your weakness. So stop talking, or it will seem like complaining. Or, Keep talking? Because if you stop they will ask what’s wrong. Work it out on your own.” I’ve always told myself this.
