A Simple Cookie Recipe You Won't Forget

If you’re looking for a simple, delicious, and partly healthy cookie recipe, you’re reading the right recipe! Most people wouldn’t choose an oatmeal cookie as their first choice, but looking at this simple oatmeal cookie recipe, I can change your mind! These cookies are gluten-free, packed with fiber and calcium, and contain less fat. No, there are no raisins for many raisin haters and no, they are not mushy as oatmeal is. Instead, these cookies are a dupe for regular chocolate chip cookies! You may be reading this and wondering if this recipe might affect people with allergies. These cookies include nuts, so be aware before baking them. Other than that, I hope you enjoy this recipe full of simplicity and fall vibes!

Ingredients:

2 large bananas

½ cup of peanut butter

2 tablespoons of maple syrup

½ teaspoon of cinnamon

½ cup of chocolate chips

2 cups of oats

Firstly, mash two large ripe bananas in a bowl. Next, add in your half cup of peanut butter, 2 tablespoons of maple syrup, and half a teaspoon of cinnamon. Mix until the batter is smooth. After that, bring in 2 cups of oats and mix until the texture is not too runny but not too solid. It should look and feel as a regular cookie dough batch would look. Lastly, add a sweet touch with a half cup of chocolate chips. I recommend using dark chocolate chips instead of milk chocolate chips because they taste a lot better.

For baking, preheat your oven to 325 F° / 163 C°. Create balls of cookie dough on a baking sheet with parchment paper. When the oven is preheated, put the baking pan in for about 10-12 minutes.

When your cookies are ready, take them out of the oven to cool for about 5 minutes. Then, finally, you’ll have amazing cookies that you have made in less than 20 minutes!
